Hypebeast Thursday: Sa-Ra
bySince Dubs don’t make Music 2 Fly 2 no more, I figure I’d make my own music post… For those that know me know that when i get something I like i will hypebeast the shit out of it for like a week then move on to some other shit lol… So why not start a weekly post on it…
For my first post, I will hype up Sa-Ra… some might be familiar some may not. Sa-Ra is a trio of eclectic muscians. The group is comprised of Om’Mas Keith, Taz Arnold, and Shafiq Husayn .Their most notable member is Taz Arnold (the fool in the tights chillin with Kanye and crew in those infamous pics from Paris Fashion week).
Side note: Taz has the biggest collection of Polo next to 88 Keyz, and ghost produced half of The Chronic 2001
Sa-Ra is like N.E.R.D. x Wynton Marsalis, if you can imagine it… if not, just know its a good look. I wont get to indepth on it, but check em out. They just dropped a record last week called Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love, and its the dope .
I’m not a big reviewer, because I tend to over-analyze and take the fun out of listening so check it out and let me know what you think… I also included their 2007 release The Hollywood Recordings in the file.
